Available Puppies

June 27, 2024: Lakota delivered eight puppies, starting at 7 p.m. on her due date. July 26,  and ended at 5 a.m. Unfortunately, two puppies did not make it and we are crushed by the loss. However, six puppies remain and that is more than the initial ultrasound detected (4).  We are blessed with four girls and two boys. As this is only the day after their birth (and for the last one, the same day), they are enjoying some peaceful time with mom. Individual puppy picture will be taken shortly to come. Below are some pictures of Lakota and Peppe’s first litter.

We are very proud of Sergeant Otto Whiskey, who is one of Lakota and Peppe’s first litter pups. He completed his rigorous training to be added to the Pueblo County Search and Rescue team. He has been handling cases since this spring (2024). Warm weather and odd situations keeps Otto and his handler/dad, Randy busy and in the trenches. However, he is a kind and loving companion, and is silly when he is off-duty. But when work calls and Randy said, “We’re going to work, Otto,” Otto shifts immediately into work mode.

Otto is an amazing example of what Lakota and Peppe produce.
